So yesterday I am driving my car, a 06 grand prix with 65k on it, and it felt like it started to bog down on the highway a little. l would hit the gas and it was slow on the response. l get off the highway and pull over, no SES light on either, l put the car in park and then back in drive, this time, l hit the gas and the rpms climbed to about 3500 before going into 2nd gear! When it did switch gears, it was a smooth transition. SO...this went on for about 15 minutes, then it seemed fine. l let the car sit for about 4 hours and it drove fine after that, and drove fine today! NOW..my tranny fluid does smell a bit burnt and its more reddish brown than red...PLEASE HELP ME OUT! Any ideas what just happened!!!

hey l would try to get a trans service done sounds to me like you got some junk stuck in there try that out, do not pu in any chemicals though just your fluid
