electric bike, as far as l know, they rarely take petrol nor diesel, they're normally electric.
That is if Im talkin about the same kind of bikes as you haha.

Well If you do not need a driving licence then l presume that you are talking about an electric pedal cycle, in which case it would be called...erm...an electric pedal cycle..or electirc push bike if you prefer.

Sunny Lass: Mopeds generally have combustion engines meaning you need a driving licence - the questions states that you do not need a licence to ride the bike refered to :)

they were called MOPS,,,,and were MOtor assisted Pedal cycles,,,
the motor similar to a lawnmower engine was attached underneath the saddle and a drive wheel(which rested on the rear tyre)drove them forward,,,i think you will only find one now in a transport museum,,i have not heard of them since the 1960,s
