MY DOOM LIGHT STAYS ON,IT WILL NOT GO OUT
the switch that turns the light off when the door is shutany one know where it is ????????

In the door jamb, which is what you step through when you climb into the truck. It is what the door closes into.

Check the dashboard.Open the door and look at the side of the dash about 6 in. from the top.Also check the dimmer switch in the dash. Make sure the dimmer is not rolled all the way up. Uaually,the dimmer switch is also the manual dome light switch.

On the New body style it is part of the lock mechanism. The part that engages the striker bolt on the body.
