I have a 2001 cadillac dts, my problem is that my ac quit blowing from the dash vents, how difficult to fix

probably a vacuum leak, or a vacuum hose dis-connect, you will most probably have to disassemble a portion of your dashboard to get at the junction., get yourself an up-to date chilton is manual and good luck..

l seem to be hearing that more & more lately with the summer months upon us. You need to be more specific as to what it is doing, is blowing any air at all? Is it blowing regular air that is not cool, or is it blowing hot air? If it is hot air, u could have an internal fault in the HVAC control module or a bad temperature actuator. This could also be true if it is blowing regular air from outside. The other end of this is that ur A/C compressor could be burnt up. The compressor is not cooling the refridgerant & is casuing warm air to come out of the vents. An overall loss of air is going to be a blower motor, which moves the air through the car.

Truth is, none of these r easy fixes unless u know what you're doing, & most of them will run close to or above $1000. Good luck.
