The car cost 45,000 new and l make about 7,000 each summer may-august and make about 200 every two weeks from work while in college. l was wondering would it be too much finanacialy for me and what is the best way to go about it

No way, dude. Keep the 7 grand to help pay off ur student loans, or for a down payment for when u will get a house. Once u graduate & get that 40K job, u will soon realize how much money is wasted on rent & car payments which bring u NO equity...no value. A car depreciates over time & gives u nothing but pride..and pride has no cash value. You will want a house ASAP so that ur hard-earned cash goes into an investment.

You only need a car to get from Point A to Point B, so why does it matter that u have a Cadillac CTS? Tell me-- is it really worth spending all ur free time working so that u can afford a certain lifestyle, at an age where it is not necessary? You're in college. You should be investing ur money into things that r going to make u money-- like books, business suits, tickets to professional networking events, etc. A Cadillac is not going to make u money, it is only going to make u lose more (especially with gas prices). Think about that.

You NEED a car, you WANT a CTS.

7,000 down with good credit willl still get you a 400-500 monthly car payment. Plus insurance, full coverage, for a college student. Price of gas to drive your new fancy car so you buddies can puke in it after parties.

l agree with the other .You do not need a $500 car payment right now and if l were you l would take that $7000 and buy a good used car like a camaro or something if a sports car is what you want.Even though you will be out $7000 you wo not have that hefty car payment to worry about while your in school..
