Overheats once in a while, not all the time. Put in new thermostat. Heat does not blow hot when its overheating. Water is boiling. No water in oil. Can you tell me whats wrong with my Cadallac ??? Is it the top head bolts?

Could be a bad radiator cap,missing bumper wind dam,inoperative EGR valve,loosely fitted hose clamps,

does it blow white smoke out the exhuast? if not does cooling fan go on? air bubbles in cooling system?water pump maybe.if it was a 95-98 l would say head gskts. but 99 has better gskts .how many miles on it.coolant have oil in it?
to many ifs ,overheats w/a/c on? or it stops ?

the water pump belt may be broke .it turns from a pulley on rear of OH camshaft.but it usually is caused from the water pump trying to seize up..
