l have a bigger motor in my truck than the original & its top speed is 55mph. if l change the Differential ring and pinion to a higher teeth count will that help me go faster?

if you have a low ratio like 4.56 then yes, changing to a 2.73 ratio will help alot, also make sure u dont have any throttle obstruction keeping u from running more gas, a common problem with changing motors, make sure ur able to run wide open throttle when peddle is on the floor, fuel mixture will keep you from accelerating too

also a transmisson with longer gear ratios will help or if ur looking at better acelaration maybe some boltons would be a consideration
