I want to use the GM family discount. I have pts from GM credit card can we use them and the GMS price

GM credit card points r no longer compatible with GMS or Supplier discounts. GM sold their majority in the credit card company & now all the rules have changed. You can only use a certain amount on certain vehicles & they cannot be used with other promotions. What u may want to do is first see how many points u have & how many can be used on the vehicle u r looking at. Second, see what the rebate is on that vehicle combined with ur GM card points & compare to the GMS price & see which one is cheaper. The dealer should be happy to do this as cars r not jumping out of the showrooms right now. At my dealership the Documentation fee is less for GMS buyers as well, so make sure u see the bottom line both ways.
