While on a drive back from a road trip my A/C began blowing hot air. No matter what temp l set it on it blows heat out of all the vents. The vehicle has never been in any accidents. This happened while l was driving. What could the problem be?

Sorry, but you need to have the system purged and recharged with Freon, and of course pressure checked for leaks which may have caused the loss of ''cold''.

take it to a good technician at a nice cozy dealer and wait in the waiting room

Check with the repair shop or dealer. l had a GMC that done that and there is motor on the blend door (hot to cold etc) that went bad and had to be replaced. The motor quits working and stops in the hot mode....ujn

You need coolant. You may have a leak and have lost the coolant. Also, it may be that your compressor does not work anymore. But at least your fan blows!
