l know l will have negative equity, just trying to avaoid outregeous payments. Any tricks, advice or ideas.

what is the reason behind the trade? if it is for something newer & cooler, is it worth the money u will lose by upgrading?

personally, l would find better ways to save that money for something else. cars depreciate so fast, & the thrill wears off.

you should invest ur money in something that retains its value better than a newer vehicle.

i always recommend buying a car that is three years old -- all the depreciation has been paid for by the previous owner(s) & u wo not lose much value on the vehicle.

Your rolling neg equity into a vehicle with a known history of poor resale. Your going to bury yourself for years if you do that. There is no trick. My advice is to down size into a vehicle that does have decent resale. Say a Honda Civic.

yeah, u r going to loose money. ADVICE: If u want a Yukon, get a Tahoe instead - it looks better, is just as luxurious, & is cheaper (GM prices GMC above Chevy, yet they're the same cars, just rebadged). If u want a Yukon XL, get a Suburban - same applies as Tahoe. You should definitely talk to a chevy dealer about the Tahoe & Suburban before going to GMC. GMC r nice, but more expensive. Ask dealer why u should go for chevy over gmc. happy hunting. :)

l had a 2005 trailblazer, liked it but wanted navi. Got the 06 envoy denali trim.LOVED IT up until last week when the engine started having problems and guess what!!!????? The lease is up in a few months... l say its the same truck, not too many diff. Dont do it! Get a Volkswagen jetta diesel. That is my next car. After 20 yrs of SUV.

Go see the Chevy dealer and look at the used ones first. Then go talk to the new car dept. for a new one and compare monthly payments and your trade on each deal. They may make you a deal or not, if not, try a different dealer until you find the right price you can afford. Do not think you cannot walk off the lot and overnight think about it. Make them sweat and want to trade with you. Leave and go back several times.
