It will not crank. It wants to turn over, but will not do it. About 6 hours ago (the last time l went out somewhere ), it was running just fine. Can someone help me? If you need a little more details, just let me know.

The lights do come on. The volt guage reads between 9 and 14, l guess around 11. 14 is the halfway mark.

Engine running and lights on,if the voltage guage is reading below 12.5 volts get a new alternator.Make sure the belt that turns the alternator is tight first.

yeah l think your altnator is dead. 11.14 is not gonna get the car started. the battery should be at 12.3 and when the truck is on it should be at 14.5 at most on the volts. you can take the battery to any autoparts store and have em check it. also you can take the altnator off and take it to them most places check that also. also look at your connections to see if they are dirty or not and clean em. good luck.
