when the steering wheel is straight the car pulls to the right because whn the steering wheel is straight the right wheel is slightly turned to the right..
is this my tie rod bent or something more serious?

car does not realy ''pull'' however
the steering wheel is off and the right tire looks to be turned to the right when wheel is straight.

You need an alignment its about $120 depends

need to start with an alignment if there is a problem with any parts they will tell you.

At the very least u need a basic 2-wheel alignment. If you've hit a curb or something, u may have bent a tie-rod or tweaked something, but if it still tracks straight a competent alignment shop should be able to adjust it out.

Keep in mind that the first step of an alignment is a road test, followed by a front-end check. If u do have any play in the tie-rod ends or ball joints an alignment cannot be done.

GM W-bodies r also well known for rear suspension issues, so l would strongly recommend a 4-wheel alignment, since the front is set based on the direction the rears r pointed!

all cars should pull sightly to right the way the roads r made so water wil run off but it shouldnt be a lot or u shouldnt have to hold the steering wheel to left so most likely it needs a alignment done.. to check first sign will be steering wheel off center to check for bad tie rod jack car up & shake wheel side to side & if u feel any slack it coul dbe bad just shake & look under same time & see whats moving & really not hard to replace tie rod two bolts lock it down one big nut holds it in place it screws in & out u count treads to screw in the same & then have it realign which need to be check about four times a year or more if theres signs or tire wear or it pulls more than it should

sounds to me like u may have a bent inner tie rod end if the wheel is turned out far enough that it is noticeable to the naked eye. l suggest taking the car to a local shop that does wheel alignments & have the front end inspected, the older luminas were notorious for balljoint & tie rod problems anyway, & my guess is this car has alot of miles on it & may be in need of some fixing up in the steering & suspension u can expect at least 20.00 for an inspection & around 60.00 for an alignment. streering components typically arent terribly expensive but the labor to replace them can get costly, especially if the car is getting rusty & the parts dont want to come off easily
