l called my local dealer, and they wanna charge me $660 to change my brake pads. Seems very high to me. Now, if thats what l have to do, I will do it. But it feels like they are gouging me. l think they are Brembo brakes.

Nearly any competent brake shop should be able to do them. Autozone lists three pad types for the front including ceramics and two for the rear, where there is a reference to Brembo calipers. Major chains like Midas and others will often offer a warranty on the pads. Good luck.

Any reputable local garage will probably be able to do it for half of that. When u get to a garage just ask the service writer or owner if they r capable of doing such a job. l see no reason why not if it is a decent garage. l would personally ''NEVER'' take anything to the dealer unless they were the last place on earth & even then l would see if the local high school kids would give it a try if l did not have the time. Your right the dealer is gouging u & they always will. They think the cadillac is a special car & nobody else can work on them, not to mention the price mark up for cadillacs & cadillac parts. I've seen dealers mark up the prices on parts as much as 100% but it is usually more like 40% ( that is any dealer not just cadillac). So stay away!! Especially a cadillac dealer. GOOD LUCK!!
